A little about me

In 2006 I completed my degree in Multimedia Design and Digital Animation and began working as a freelance digital and print designer. It quickly became apparent that most people need a lot more than just a visual designer or a web developer; they need someone to help them define and design their brand, write the copy, consider the user experience through digital and sales channels and generally support them to refine and manage their offering from conception to delivery and beyond. So that’s what I did and I’ve got a lot of very grateful clients.

Right now I’m looking to work on some interesting design projects, that allow a good deal of creativity. I’m also interested in UX or User Experience Design. That said, people are the most important aspect in any job, so if we hit it off, I’m happy to roll up my sleeves for just about anything. Please get in touch if you want to chat about a project or possible ongoing working relationship.

Oh, and I forgot to say, my full name is John-James Lloyd, but you can call me Jay!

Kind words

Here’s a few words from some grateful clients.

Jay has been a key member of the team, with excellent comprehension, initiative and communication skills. He is quick to learn and able to manage deadlines and complicated tasks with minimum stress

Tom Barnsley - Director, Roundfield Ltd

I've worked with Jay for around 8 years and have found him to be an excellent communicator and able to effectively manage the development of my new web offerings, liaising smoothly with my team and other service providers. I often discuss my new business plans with him and appreciate his ideas and input.

Simon Guiton - Owner and Director of VetIndex Ltd

Jay obviously has a great deal of technical knowledge and creative ability, but it has also been extremely valuable to have someone who understands our mission and can help us communicate it online.
