Branding & Logo Design

When designing a website, I would offer hosting as part of the package. I had an idea to expand the offering and bring in a positive ecological incentive – whilst the servers ticked over eating electricity, I would plant a certain number of trees each year for every website on the server. My client’s loved the idea and TreeSpace Hosting was born. I planted well over a hundred trees with organisations in the UK and abroad. I designed this logo for the business, combining the symbolism of the digital network of my client’s sites and the organic network of trees we were planting. As I now focus more on graphic and digital design, I no longer offer hosting, but most of the sites are still running and all of the trees are still growing! One very worthy organisation I supported was Trees For Life, who work to restore the Caledonian Forest in Scotland.
