This was a great opportunity to get creative. The Lights arts centre asked me to create a poster for a regular event, to attract local bands to play and punters to come and listen. They wanted something fun and playful. I came up with the concept of a musician on a street corner with his music literally transforming and bringing to life the landscape around him. The client loved the initial sketch, so I took that into Adobe Illustrator, along with this perfect stock photograph of a guitarist, and worked up the final composition. Many a great night was had, though I don’t know whether flames came out of any of the guitarist’s feet!
